We have decided to start blogging a lot of our YouTube videos, myself (Ben) often like to read some reviews as opposed to watching them. Perhaps I’m not in a situation to allow me to watch a video, so hopefully we can now cater for people who like to read over watching sometimes.
Here we have an unboxing of the 4V Design SD Case in Black Leather. We spoke to 4V about their lovely looking products and after a couple of emails they agreed to send across some items for us to put through it paces and see what they are worth. We have done some reviews previously on the blog and YouTube, but now look to wrap these together.
Here is the Youtube Video:
So the product, it is quite small, but, I think on first impressions doesn’t possibly utilise the space. Here it is next to the 56mm f/1.2 Fuji Prime and an iPhone 6S Plus for scale:
It is well made, there is no denying that. Oh and the smell of that Tuscany leather is just lovely, really nice. You can bend this thing and the leather will be perfect, its vegetable tanned so won’t crack, that alone tells me its a great product which will last a while.
I like the idea of it, keeping memory cards in it two ways, face up for clean and face down for used, a nice visual representation of which card to pick. There is also space behind these for business cards etc. But this idea isn’t new, years ago when I first started I purchased the same thing in a plastic container, but this was also water proof, is a leather version any better? Not so sure, but, if like us, you like to have a ‘certain image’ with what you are doing, this certainly fits the bill.
There isn’t much to say about it other than that at the moment, it is well made, light, practicable, we will give it a use and anger and come back with a fuller review.

This product isn’t live on their website at the moment, we will try and update this with a direct link when it is avaliable.
